'''Brine''' is the smallest of the nine islands of [[Belgrit]], consisting of only a single port town of the same name and a few tiny farmsteads. Arable land is very scarce on Brine, leading to heavy reliance on fishing and trade.
Fun fact: The process of brining (soaking food, especially meat, in salt water to season and preserve it) gets its name from this island, from where the practice originated as a way of preserving fish for export.
