Coves is a gambling card game played throughout the world, especially in port cities. It uses a standard Belgritian 36-card deck

Hands
- Crown Fleet - A Strung Fleet with Arthan in the middle (Norrin, Brynlee, Arthan, Brine, Brazen)
- Strung Fleet - Five of the same Ship in neighboring Flags (straight flush)
- Four in Colors - Every Ship of the same Flag (four of a kind)
- Armada - Three of one Flag and two of another (full house)
- Fleet - Five of the same Ship (flush)
- String - Five neighboring Flags (straight), ranked by the middle card, also called an "X Sandwich" where "X" is the middle flag. (Note: adjacency is circular - Brine and Arthan are considered neighbors)
- Three in Colors- Three of the same Flag (three of a kind)
- Two by Two - Four Ships in two Flags (two pair)
- Two in Colors - Two of the same Flag (pair)
- Ship of the Line - None of the above, ranked by best card (high card)
