Coves is a gambling card game played throughout the world, especially in port cities. It uses a standard Belgritian 36-card deck

- Crown Fleet - Five of the same Ship in the five highest Flags (Arthan, Brynlee, Norrin, Myrth, and Tannick)
- Strung Fleet - Five of the same Ship in neighboring Flags (straight flush)
- Four in Colors - Every Ship of the same Flag (four of a kind)
- Armada - Three of one Flag and two of another (full house)
- Fleet - Five of the same Ship (flush)
- String - Five neighboring Flags (straight), also called Tannick and Friends because Tannick is always involved
- "Bigs" - Arthan, Brynlee, Norrin, Myrth, Tannick
- "Littles" - Tannick, Vaylee, Yimmit, Brazen, Brine
- "Middles" - Norrin, Myrth, Tannick, Vaylee, Yimmit
- Three in Colors- Three of the same Flag (three of a kind)
- Two by Two - Four Ships in two Flags (two pair)
- Two in Colors - Two of the same Flag (pair)
- Ship of the Line - None of the above, ranked by best card (high card)
