Henge

Henge is a large island province of the Araxian Empire, just off the northeastern coast near Osteldrin. Henge was the birthplace of Treth, before he became a god.

The native people of Henge, the Varni, are especially prone to aethersickness for reasons that are not yet understood, though several theories exist. Due to their inability to travel via Wayshrine, the Varni are known for their overland caravan routes and penchant for sailing. Varni are easily identified by the Skeld rune which they bear on their foreheads as a defense against aethersickness.
